Mulan: The Live Action Film Will Also Release For All Disney+ Subscribers For Free

Disney’s Mulan will be available to all Disney + customers in December. Disney’s live-action remake of the 1998 animated classic of the same name has received a release date. Like all major movie releases in 2024, Mulan faced delays due to the coronavirus epidemic. The film opened on March 9, 2024, and was originally scheduled for a general release on March 27.

However, with global socialization patterns and cinemas around the world closing, the film was delayed. First through July 2024 and then through August, before Disney removed it entirely from its release schedule.

Disney announced that Moolan would be available to buy on Disney+ beginning September 4, 2024. The film will also open theatrically in markets where theaters may operate and where Disney+ is not available. The film could fee relatively $30 at the streaming platform, however, it’d be an everlasting purchase, now no longer a rental. Inspired by the Chinese poem “Songs of Mulain”, the film follows Mulan, a young woman who does everything to protect her family and country, when the Emperor of China sends a man from every household to the royal army.
