Enola Holmes: All Latest Updates On The Upcoming Netflix Mystery Film

Netflix is coming up with the brand new mystery film titled Enola Holmes. It is directed by Harry Bradbeer, and it features Millie Bobby Brown in the titular role alongside Henry Cavill as Sherlock Holmes. The film is produced by Mary Parent, Millie Bobby Brown, Alex Garcia, and Paige Brown. It is inspired by the novel of Nancy Springer titled The Enola Holmes Mysteries.

The film is center on detective Sherlock’s younger sister named Enola Homes. Sherlock fans are eagerly waiting to see this Netflix flick. So keep reading to catch every significant update on it:

Release Date

The good news is the upcoming Netflix film will not be impacted by the coronavirus outbreak. Many upcoming shows and movies already delayed due to the pandemic. The shooting was already finished back in the previous year, and now it is reportedly in post-production.

So, Enola Holmes is slated to arrive on Netflix in September 2024. It was first set to release in the theaters, but unfortunately, because of coronavirus, now the film will release online.

Sir Arthur Conan Doyle Estate Sues Netflix

So soon when Netflix made the announcement of the Enola Holmes, The Conan Doyle Estate sued Netflix and others over copyright and trademark concerns. The estate registered a lawsuit against Netflix as the film is violating copyright. They still have that copyrights for the stories that we will be going to see in Sherlock’s sister film Enola Holmes. We are hoping that it will not impact the release of the upcoming flick.
