There is more and more information about the Marvel Studios movie Black Widow, and now we can better know its protagonists.
For now, we do not know if Black Widow will hit theatres as scheduled on October 30, 2024, or if it will suffer a further delay. Even so, Marvel Studios continues to promote the film and now we have more details of what this action story will offer.
These are the main characters of the film:
___Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson)
After the events of the Civil War resulted in the destruction of the Avengers, Natasha stands up to face her past that haunts her till the date. The dark path that led her to become a spy and a murderer added to all the events that happened afterward. She faces a deadly assassin, someone so exceptional, unlike anyone the Black Widow ever met.
___Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh)
A successful alum of Red Room, Yelena has a pile of history with Natasha that she wants to solve. Getting herself trapped in the world of threats on every edge of the day, she decides to shake hands with Natasha to survive the day.
___Alexei / Red Guardian (David Harbor)
The candidate and answer to our beloved Captain America, Red Guardian aka Alexie is a super spy and soldier. Alexie is still considered the ultimate hero due to his nature to share his greatness with everyone he can. During the events of Black Widow, he is trapped inside the Russia Prison with his other inmates with a pang of guilt about his spy life.
__Melina Vostokoff (Rachel Weisz)
An ultra-special highly trained special agent of Red Room who has been part of the training program a whopping four times, Melina is one of the top scientists of the Red Room. Melina distanced herself from the Red Room after decades of loyal service, but after Black Widow shows up, she chooses the sides where her loyalty resides.
