The Suicide Squad: Harley Quinn Changes Her Tattoo

Birds of Prey and the splendid release of a Harley Quinn began filming just four weeks ago, and the DCEU movie has already given us a teaser video plus the main antagonist of the side team birds.

As we may be more mesmerized by the film adaptation of Gotham, one of the best teams of female heroes, we now have several production photos to behold. Beyond Harley Quinn’s new look, she also got some additional tattoos.

Just Jared shared photos from the Birds of Prev set and some, in particular, caught the eye of a fan:

As some of the revealed plot details suggest, Preity’s Birds will feature a somewhat reimagined Harley Quinn, and now it seems the reimagining will likely extend beyond the character’s relationships and goals. As fan revenge is reported, the new Harley Quinn may also give a different look, which sees her with tattoos after connecting with the Joker in a suicide squad.

The report is just a rumor so far:

But Quinn’s appearance will change with the tenure of new DC Films owner Walter Hamada, who has given his creators a lot of freedom while reimagining many of the DCEU characters.

In fact, the appearance of Harley Quinn and the Joker in Suicide Squad was extreme and cries far beyond the characters that commonly appear in comics. Many were not fans of the gangsta look adopted by Jest Leto as The Joker even director David Ayer admitted he went too far with the character design and others about Harley Quinn. He had complained that it seems like a lifestyle.

The star cast of the upcoming movie The Suicide Squad:

  • Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn
  • Taika Waititi
  • Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flag
  • Idris Elba as Bloodsport
  • Alice Braga as SolSoria
  • Pete Davidson as Blackguard
