Shazam! Director David F. Sandberg has revealed his three hidden cameos in the film. The comic adaptation hit theatres in 2019, grossing $ 365 million at the worldwide box office. It was also a hit with critics and audiences alike, with a critical score of 90% on Rotten Tomatoes and 82% audience share. Following the film’s success, the studio defeated the sequel, which is now slated to open in April 2024.
Shazam! which is based on a series of comics created by C.C. Beck and Bill Parker in the 1930s. The story centres on a boy named Billy Batson, who magically names “Shazam!” David F., an adaptation of the film. It was directed by Sandberg and starred Zachari Levi as the main character, with Asher Angel, Jack Dylan Gregor and Mark Strong as Dr Sivana, the character’s most notorious villain.

Director David F. Sandberg recently tweeted live a quarantine watch party for the film, where he revealed new information, including his three cameos in the film. Although his cameo as a crocodile was already confirmed, he also legitimized two other rumoured cameos. He revealed that he was not only one of the three crocodiles in the film, but was also the voice of Travis, the lover of Billy’s birth mother and Dr The villain in the intermediate credits scene with Sivanawas Mr Mind. What is the expected release date for Shazam 2?
Shazam though! 2 is first set in April 2024, and the release date of many comic book movies was changed due to the Coronavirus epidemic. Sandberg himself also stated that he believed the early sequel to the virus would cause production delays.
