Most of the regular cast of the franchise are returning in Fast and Furious 9. The returning cast includes Vin Diesel as Dominic Toretto, Michelle Rodriguez as Letty Ortiz, Jordana Brewster as Mia Toretto ( Dom Sister), Chris “Ludacris” Bridges as Tej Parker, Tyrese Gibson as Roman Pearce and Nathalie Emmanuel as Ramsey. Two of the newer additions to the franchise are back too, and they are Charlize Theron and Helen Mirren. Charlize Theron will reprise her character from The Fate of the Furious as villainous cyberterrorist Cipher, while Helen Mirren is back as Magdalene Shaw. We can expect Sung Kang to return as Han Lue.
A few new characters are joining the cast of Fast and Furious 9. The new cast members are John Cena and Michael Rooker, Finn Cole (Peaky Blinders), Anna Sawa (Giri/Haji), Vinnie Bennett (Ghost in the Shell), and musicians Cardi B and Ozuna. John Cena is set to play a character against Vin Diesel, while Michael Rooker will play a character named Buddy.

Fast and Furious 9 is directed by Justin Lin. This will be Lin’s fifth movie in the franchise, and Lin has previously helmed The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006), Fast & Furious (2009), Fast Five (2011), and Fast & Furious 6 (2013). According to sources, Lin will also be back for Fast and furious 10 in 2024.
