Extraction: Chris Hemsworth Shares An Intense Fight Sequence From His Upcoming Netflix Film

Filmmaker duo Russo Brothers has shared a vision of a fight sequence from their upcoming action movie, Extraction directed by Sam Hargrave.

The Netflix original series features Avengers Endgame star Chris Hemsworth as the lead and Bollywood actor Randeep Hooda. In a new clip shared by the Russo Brothers, we see Hooda and Hemsworth engaged in an intense knife fight in the middle of the street. A side frame presents BTS images of Hemsworth’s training with an action choreographer.

Hemsworth plays the role of Tyler Reck, a mercenary who is sent to Bangladesh to rescue the kidnapped son (Rudraksha Jaiswal) from a drug trafficker. The mission turns into a soul searching race for Tyler as he develops a bond with the boy. The trailer is loaded with high octane action scenes from Indian and Bangladeshi cities.

Before the trailer was released

Hemsworth shared a video message via Netflix India’s Twitter account. He said that his time during the filming of the film in India was unforgettable, but due to a coronavirus epidemic, he was unable to return to promote the film in the country.

The extraction was shot extensively in India last year. Hemsworth said in an interview that he had never filmed in India before, making the experience more unique.

What he said 

He told that he had great and pleasant memories of people of there was not of excitement and positivity out there. It was a real thrill for us to film there. We had never filmed there before. The crew felt that many of these No movies because there was filming there, for what had unique originality, “he said.

The action role features David Harbor, Pankaj Tripathi, and Priyanshu Penyuli in supporting roles. The excerpt premieres on Netflix on April 24.
