The film revolves around Pete Maverick Mitchell who returns back to his alma mater, a flight school to teach the Top Gun students for a special mission. He would be joined along by Val Kilmer (portraying the role of Maverick’s rival), Miles Teller, John Hamm and many more. Maverick is a sequel to the 1986 classic which starred Tom Cruise itself.

The movie was to release mainly in the USA and the UK along with many other parts of the country. Since we know that at present the USA tops the list of the maximum COVID affected patients which is not seeing to stop till now.

Hence it is better to push the delay of the movie keeping in mind the safety of its citizens. Also, the amount of investment in the movie is really huge and it is very important that the sale of tickets should be in good numbers to cover that amount which requires good promotion campaigns on the part of Cruise.
