Scream 5: Will Neve Campbell Return? Here’s What We Know

The past few years have seen a revival in the horror genre, with theaters crowded with critically acclaimed movies.

But the horror was based on the franchise, leading to new incarnations of assets like Halloween and Child’s Play. In this way, horror fans were delighted when the iconic slasher series Scream returned to theaters. Scream 5 is currently ready or not in development by directors Matthew Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, but will we see the return of the original cast? Fortunately for us, Neve Campbell recently spoke about that possibility for the first time.

Neve Campbell played protagonist Sidney Prescott throughout the four screaming movies

Working with horror legend Wes Craven while cutting his head off. He would have to sign the main story to continue, and now Campbell has opened up about the possibility.

When asked if she was ready to return for Scream 5, the House of Cards alum said:

They come to me and we are talking because it is a little difficult to know when this will happen. Hopefully we can see all the elements that need to be implemented for this to happen. Originally I was very concerned about making another screaming movie without Wes because he is a genius and that is why they are what they are. But the directors who have reached out to me have come very appreciative of Wes’s work and really want to honor him. And it means a lot to me. Hopefully we can do this.

do you hear that? It’s the sound of fans screaming with joy everywhere. Because it looks like Matthew Betinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett intend to shout Sydney from Ship Campbell again. 5 Although nothing is set in stone, the actress’s comments indicate that she is asking for the stars to return when the stars align.

In 2011 Scream 4 was putting together a fifth Scream movie shortly after theaters.

But when the movie didn’t work properly at the box office, they stopped. And when the franchise released television to accompany the MTV series, director/writer Wes Craven died in 2015. Craven’s death seemed to shatter all hopes for another Scream movie, at least until the director or director of Ready joined.

Matthew Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett experimented in a tone like Ready or Not Wild and the hilarious horror that Wes Craven had with the Scream franchise. It looks like they want to channel Scream 5 in exactly the same way, leading to a turn of events that pleased Neve Campbell. Because how can you get back to Woodsboro without Sydney Prescott? She is expected to be associated with Courtney Cox, David Arquette, and Hayden Panettiere Kirby.
