It looks like Netflix is on a mission to wipe out its TV series section and tend to clear out space for new arrivals. Netflix reportedly canceled 19 shows in the fall 2024 and many more are on the verge to be axed this November.
However, Netflix has every right to decide the fate of the show and it doesn’t matter whether the show has still a storyline remains in its veins. If Netflix came to a conclusion it would be final and blow is imminent for the show.
The Society Sequel
There are many speculations around the sequel of The Society as the show already axed by the streaming giant. The strange thing with the show is that it already got renewed for the sequel season and proceeded for further production phases. But the latest reports suggest that the show has been canceled on August 21 this fall.
Reasons for Cancelation
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the budget issues for the streaming giant are getting heavy numbers. To avoid such loss, Netflix came to a conclusion to cancel some shows and the process is already initiated. The filming restrictions also a major reason for cancelation as the schedule is pretty important for the streaming giant and space has to be clear out for the upcoming projects.
The economy can V and a vaccine arrive, but a soundstage can't run double time, nor can actor
50% of 2024 productions are gone and can't be made up. And production will be slower, with actors picking projects based on contractual positions. Doesn't matter if you scheduled Sept. https://t.co/5T4024TvSi

Production
There is no such loss recorded by Netflix as the production was already halted due to pandemic. So the production phases didn’t take in the first place and avoid further damage to the pockets.
Revival
Currently, there is no scope for the revival of the shows as Netflix is currently dealing with losses to recover. However, there are several upcoming projects and their completion is the utmost priority for the streaming giant. So currently, its better to forget about the sequel season of the show.
