The project first hit the news in March 2024 so considering that the show will take about 2 years to be finished and out, considering the current situation with production being put on hold we hope that the series does not face any additional delays.
We have Craig Mazin and game director Neil Druckmann who will serve as producers to the series, Craig is super excited and thrilled about this opportunity, according to him the second part of the game is going to be out soon and they will have to wait for it until they can move forward with the project.

While casting for the show has not yet announced but we can hear rumors that the characters for Joel and Ellie will be played by Hugh Jackman and Maisie Williams, respectively.
Other characters that will be seen in the series straight from the game are Riley who is Ellie’s friend and love interest, Tess who is Joel’s companion, Marlene who is the Leader of the Fireflies, Maria who is Joel’s sister-in-law.
