Snake Eyes, G.I. Joe Spinoff, Has Already Wrapped, Here’s How Henry Golding Celebrated

The first G.I. Joe’s movie was released in 2009 with a title G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra. The second movie of the franchise titled G.I. Joe: Retaliation was released in 2013. It has been seven years since the movie was released. But, here’s good news about the movie. The movie is getting a spin-off titled Snake Eyes. According to sources, the principal photography of the film has already been completed. Star Henry Golding took to social media to celebrate the ending of this by posting a photo.

Celebrate By Posting A Photo

To honor the completion of production on Snake Eyes, Henry Golding shared a photo of a slate from the movie, complete with signatures probably from cast members and crew. The slate also highlights a logo for the film, which interestingly includes the sigil of Cobra Commander, the main villain of the G.I. Joe franchise and opposition to Snake Eyes and his Joe associates. Perhaps that logo was just utilized for the slate before the other logo we saw back in January was settled on, or it really has something to do with the snake link.

The Movie Was Shot In Canada And Japan

In celebrating the completion of Snake Eyes’ principal photography on Instagram, star Henry Golding praised the effort of the movie’s crew. The film was shot in Vancouver, Canada, as well as in Japan. It’s entirely possible that reshoots could happen down the line, as they usually do with big movies, but right now, it appears like things are moving fast and efficiently for the production.

In extension to being thankful for the effort everyone put in, the actor sounds passionate about what they achieved while filming the movie. Snake Eyes is one of the G.I. Joe’s most tenured roles and the most popular, making him the excellent selection to lead a G.I. Joe spin-off movie, among other reasons.
