So, some sources recently revealed that Disney is developing a live-action movie based on the Digimon series for its streaming service Disney+. There are already many movies made, but they all are animated, and fans have been urging to the creators for a live-action film from a long time. But the mouse house has not declared anything about the project.
Disney Bought The Rights Of Digimon
But dont worry there are many chances for a live-action movie as the mouse house has already acquired the rights of Digimon during the acquisition of 20th Century Fox. So now Disney has all the rights of Digimon that increases the chances if a live-action movie. The sources did not reveal any plot and release date details and only revealed that the film is now in the very early stages of development.
Earlier, Detective Pikachu released which showed that a film that is based on anime series is very very successful. The live-action Pokemon movie received good response from both critics and audiences, and it also broke all the records at the box office.
