Hocus Pocus 2: Is Release Date Confirmed For Sequel Yet?

It’s been a tradition to bring back classic movies into their reboot versions. Likes of many classical films get into their modern representation and recently the witch pack Hocus Pocus is in the lineup for the potential sequel. It’s been 27 years since the initial installment of the Hocus Pocus hit the screens.

Now the very much hyped sequel could be on its way in upcoming years, so let’s discuss its release date and other crucial details.

Release Date

However, it is evident that due to the Coronavirus pandemic the filming of the project didn’t commence. So Hocus Pocus is currently a matter on papers and the execution is expected to begin soon. However, the filming will only be possible when restrictions put down to ease. The expected release date of the sequel will likely follow the next fall and could arrive at the time of Halloween.

Cast

We know the fact that the original cast is getting old and there could be some ambiguities regarding their recruitment. But we are clearing the air about the cast as they are getting back for the sequel and that would be the best thing for the fans.

Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimmy, all are ready to give Hocus Pocus another go. They are pretty excited about the fact they got approached for the sequel and will give their best.

Disney Plus

The sequel will probably not have a theatrical release as the flick likely to release on Disney owned platform Disney Plus. So you must have a subscription to witness the witches again on your screen sets.

Trailer

Currently, there is no trailer for the sequel as the project is just confirmed for the release. We could expect the trailer three months prior to its release and fans are already counting for it.

Storyline Leaks 

Currently, there are no spotlights on the storylines as Makers didn’t assert a single fact about the movie. But it is speculated that the story will follow the events of 300 years later and the preferred location in California.
