Season 2 of His Dark Materials is going to be on the life of Phillip Pullman. It is going to be adapted form his second book called ‘The Subtle Knife.
What’s In The Season 2 Trailer?
The trailer of His Dark Materials season 2 is out, which is a minute-long teaser, and it tells that the upcoming season is adapted from Phillip Pullman second book trilogy – The Subtle Knife. Said Knife is seen to make an appearance in the trailer of His Dark Materials season 2. The trailer of season 2 has also introduced Will Parry.
In season 1, we saw Lord Asriel had opened up access to a new world. In the trailer of season two of His Dark Materials, it is shown Lyra BelaBelacqua is following Lord Asriel into the modern world. Meanwhile, she meets Will Parry in the city of Cittagazze. He tells her that he is also from a different world like she is and is being hunted by Magisterium.
When Is The Second Season Releasing?
The dates for the release of the second season of His Dark Materials has not been declared yet. However, it has been officially confirmed that the series is coming at the end of this year only. Let’s hope to watch it as soon as possible.

His dark material season 2 is returning with all its main cast members, which include Logan’s Dafne Keen, James McAvoy, Luther’s Ruth Wilson, Lin-Manuel Miranda, as Lyra Belacqua, Lord Asriel, Mrs. Coulter, and Lee Scoresby respectively.
A newcomer Amir Wilson will also be joining the cast to play the role of Will Parry, who is seen as Lyra’s new BFF in the movie. Other than that, actor Ruta Gedmintas, Helen McCrory, and Joe Tandberg are also going to reappear in season two of His Dark Materials. Some other cast members may also be added.
