After learning of her landmark audition for the Star Wars franchise last month, Captain Marvel herself has brought Brie Larson back with more auditions for films that didn’t turn out the way she wanted, including the near-Marvel Cinematic stuntman.
It appeared first in the Universe. Looking back on some of his auditions from 2008 to 2009, Larson confirmed that he auditioned for two different films in the MCU, reading for a role and casting for 2010’s Iron Man 2 and 2011’s Thor feature film, but thanks to her and the MCU fans, her time with Marvel was destined to come later.
Other films Larson confirmed include Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief, Angels in Sallust, The Book of Eli, The Sorcerer Apprentice, etc. She is also known for her Greek, Descendants, Jennifer’s Body, Legion, The Last House on the Left, Drive Angry 3D, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, and even an incarnation of James Cameron, whom she does not recall auditing.

Larson also confirmed some Disney Channel original movies, in which he auditioned for the inclusion of Brink! And Smart House, plus the TV shows Halt and Catch Fire and The Big Bang Theory. All of these reveals came after Larsen’s first audition video, where he revealed that he auditioned for all of Lucasfilm’s new Star Wars movies, including Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Rogue One. Larsen will return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Captain Marvel 2, which has already been set for a release date. The sequel was released on July 29, 2024, and will now be released on July 8, 2024. Candyman’s Nia DiCosta recently supported the long-awaited follow-up to the study.
