The Batman: Matt Reeves Reveals The DC Movie Is Not An Origin Story

The Batman Director Matt Reeves came out to confirm that the story for his Batman movie will not be an original, he tries to explain his approach to the comic book and how he is going to adapt the novel.

Things have changed a lot with Ben Affleck’s stepping down from the role of Batman and giving Robert Pattinson his character, Batman’s style has evolved a lot in these past years, and we are excited to see what direction Reeves is going to give the story. Fans are waiting for a release date soon.

Robert Pattinson will be surrounded by some incredibly talented supporting cast that includes Jeffrey Wright, Andy Serkis, Colin Farrell, Paul Dano, and Zoe Kravitz.

PLOT FOR THE BATMAN 

Pattinson is 14 years younger to Affleck and fans have been intrigued to know what new dimension Reeves is going to add into the story, we have seen Batman being portrayed as the good guy will this time we see things on the other side of the table? Will we see him portrayed as a villain?

HERE IS WHAT REEVES HAS TO SAY ABOUT THE PLOT 

He says that he does not want to do an original tale but a tale that will show the origin of Batman, which means to explain how he is formed into the character that he is.

He further adds saying “Like this guy, he’s majorly struggling, and this is how he’s trying to rise above that struggle”, Reeves is going to bring us an unfiltered Batman, seen with his struggles his insecurities and well that does sounds like a great plot.

Reeves concludes saying “It’s that whole idea of the shadow self and what’s driving you, and how much of that you can incorporate, and how much of it you’re doing that you’re unaware of.”
