Kamen has been offered the role of Jill Valentine. Jill Valentine is one of the most beloved characters in the classic horror game series.

The character of Jill Valentine has been described as a city girl who likes to hang out with the guys. Jill is beautiful and also tough. She knows how to have fun. She is a Raccoon City police officer who has been involved with a fellow officer, Chris Redfield.

Neither the studio nor Hannah-John Kamen herself has confirmed the presence of the actor in the cast of the film. It is believed that even though the casting was open for all ethnicities, the studio was keen to cast an American African actress of mixed heritage for the role.

There are rumors that Brenton Thwaites has been approached to play the role of Chris Redfield. Kaya Scodelario has been in talks with the studio to portray the character of Redfield’s sister, Claire.

Resident Evil will be directed by Johannes Roberts. The production of the movie was to start in June but has been postponed due to COVID 19. Sony Pictures will distribute the movie.
