Marvel is developing a series named WandaVision for the streaming service Disney+. It will set in MCU and sharing continuity with the films. It will center on the two superhero characters: Wanda Maximoff and Vision. Jac Schaeffer is creating, and Matt Shakman is directing the series.
It was announced at Comic-Con with other series like Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Hawkeye, Loki, etc. The production was stopped earlier due to coronavirus outbreak, but recently it was revealed filming could begin soon. So keep reading to know other details regarding WandaVision:
What’s The Production Status Of WandaVision?
Earlier, Disney chose to halt the production on the upcoming Disney + series because of coronavirus. Back in March 2024, the filming was postponed for ensuring the safety of the cast and crew members. But now it is confirmed that the production will resume next month.
The good news is revealed by The Tampa Bay Comic Convention (TBCC), they claimed in their Facebook post that Paul Bettany was involved with their event, but he had to cancel everything because Disney had decided to resume production on WandaVision in July, in Los Angeles.
What’s The Air Date Of WandaVision?
The upcoming Disney+ series is still slated to release in December 2024, despite the delay in production. Changes that can be made in the release date may be due to pause in production. A specific date is also not revealed, but we will keep updating you if any news appears.

There is very limited information on the story of it. But it is confirmed that the series will set in 1950, and it will set up the story for the upcoming MCU phase 4 movie Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. The character of Wanda will also appear in the film. Apart from this, we will see Monica as an adult, whom we saw in the Captain Marvel movie as a child.
