The OA: Season 3 Return Rumors Are False

A lot of web shows have been taken down by the leading online streaming giant Netflix. And why we are talking it here is because those web dramas were a hit among the viewers followed by a good number of viewership and ratings from critics. And as a result, a lot of silent protests on social media platforms along with petitions signed are going all around urging Netflix to bring back the shows with new seasons. And one such show that hit this category is the science-fiction drama The OA.

All About The OA

The show has hit our small screens in 2016 and since then we have only two seasons to binge-watch. The show is a brilliant creation with everything that a fan demands in a show – you have science fiction, supernatural elements, time travel, and full on adventure. And mind you what we are going to tell you next is that the show when it originally was created had the intention to be made for five seasons. But unfortunately, after the second season in 2019 Netflix canceled the show.

False Rumors

And there are many rumors doing the rounds that it has been renewed for a third season but nothing of such sort is happening anytime in future. The show revolves around a girl who was initially blind but all of a sudden she disappeared and after years appeared. She can now see and has returned to her home and calls herself The OA.

Because of the unexpected cancellation season, two ended with cliffhangers because we all were in the excitement to get it solved in the upcoming installment. There are even no chances of the show being taken up by another online streaming platform because this was produced by Netflix itself.

Well, we can do nothing about it now and hope that in the future we get to witness it again. The showrunner of The OA also wrote a heartfelt post on her social media handle and thanked everyone for pouring in all the love and accepting the show. So for the time being it is adieu to the show.
