The year 2024 had surely brought a hell lot of ups and downs for everyone with more of downs, the most recent being the Coronavirus pandemic. The deadly virus has resulted in a lockdown of the entire world making people sit inside their homes.
However, it is not creating panic among the people ( and it should not even create) as they are trying to remain positive, help out others and make the most of this time. So one recent example of this of the famous Goonies cast who called it for a reunion via the Zoom App to celebrate the 35th anniversary of their treasure hunting film.
The entire cast reunited along with the classic filmmaker Steven Spielberg which made it more fun to watch. Steven brought so.many old memories and incidents to life once again. He even told about his intention of creating a sequel of the film many times but it all went in vain as he thinks that the standards set up by the cast could not be matched.
Steven also shared how he came up with the idea of making this film and producing it. Everyone was present, from the entire cast to the writers and soundtrack managers who turned up for a good cause too.
The reunion was done to raise funds for The Centre For Disaster Philanthropy to combat a crisis which affects millions of people. It was indeed really a treat to watch the cast, especially who had acted like kids in the movie and are now all grown up adults doing commendable work in the industry.
