Sherlock Holmes 3: Possible Title And Expected Release Date

Robert Downey Jr is known for being Iron Man in his own life, as the character overshadowed the other roles, and we almost forget the fact that he also played Sherlock once. Now the character back to its limelight as the role of Iron Man finally ended in Avengers Endgame and fans now have to witness Downey as the private detective. His contribution to Doctor Dolittle was not appreciated at all. But with the likes of Sherlock Holmes, he could regain the lost fortune after his last flick.

Now the Sherlock flick series is getting its third installment, and the flick got hyped after the actor’s Marvel tenure. Robert Downey Jr himself asserted the facts about Sherlock holmes three that the flick is in development, and soon, there will be respective elements regarding the flick.


Currently, there is no information on the possible title of the third installment of the franchise. However, the previous one, Game of Shadows, also didn’t draft any conclusions regarding the sequel. So it is expected that a teaser or trailer will be an unveiling entity of the next part of the franchise.

Release Date

Pushing release dates nowadays is an ordinary part of the production; many projects got delayed this year, whether they are completed, or their process is due. Sherlock Holmes 3 is also one of them, which got postponed to December 22, 2024, from December 25 this fall. So a year gap is usually considered because of the current pandemic situations around the world.


Only Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law are irreplaceable for the third edition of the Sherlock Holmes. However, the addition of the cast totally depends upon the storyline of the third part. Kelly Reilly and Stephen Fry also make the list to hit the cast sheet of the flick. However, the role of Moriarty always in speculation as Jared Harris could make a possible return to the franchise.
