Well, well, well, the class of 2024 has not quite had the senior year they ever imagined because many schools across the whole United States have shifted to distance learning due to the pandemic created by the fatal Corona Virus.
All this while, the time-honoured graduation ceremony may be taking place virtually, various organisations and communities, as well as celebrities, have come together to make this rite of passage as unique as possible despite all these weird circumstances.
Selena is giving her contribution to making kids happy during the pandemic period!
Our favourite pop star Selena Gomez was one such celebrity who offered advice and inspiration to the class of 2024.
The actor, as well as musician, gave a virtual speech through Facebook’s #Graduation2020: Facebook and Instagram Celebrate the Class of 2024. The Lose You To Love Me singer kept all of it very real and relatable for this year’s class of seniors.
Here is what valuable piece of advice Selena gave to the students!
Gomez said that when people ask her what she would do to her younger self, she always said Go Ahead And Did It and all of the kids have worked so hard to get to this point, and she knows it is not exactly how they imagined their graduation year to look like.
She added that it is okay not to know what to do with the rest of your life and it is a journey to find your direction or passions so do not get frustrated by all the mistakes and other setbacks as they happen to everyone.
