Legally Blonde was released in 2001. The movie stars Reese Witherspoon, Luke Wilson, Selma Blair. After the release of Legally Blonde, viewers immediately fell in love with Reese Witherspoon as Elle Woods. The movie made over $141 million in box office worldwide, ultimately prompting the second film in the franchise. The second movie of the franchise was released in 2003.

Release Date

MGM Studios confirmed on Instagram that the movie was first set to release on Valentine’s Day 2024. In November 2019, MGM confirmed that the release date had been pushed back to 8 May 2024.

Cast Of Legally Blonde 3

According to sources, Reese Witherspoon as Elle Woods, Jessica Cauffiel as Margot, and Alanna Ubach as Elle’s other sorority sister Serena McGuire have been confirmed for the movie so far.

Witherspoon said in June 2019 that ‘There are some returning characters and some new characters.’ And in October 2019, she added that I love Jennifer Coolidge and Luke Wilson and Selma Blair … if we finish up doing it, hopefully, they finish up all being there.”

According to sources, Linda Cardellini, who played the first movie’s killer Chutney Windham and Jessica Cauffiel, who performed as Elle’s sorority sister Margot are also set to join the cast of Legally Blonde 3.

Expected Story Of Legally Blonde 3

The first movie covered Elle’s run at Harvard Law School, while the second movie focused on her move from Boston to Washington DC to lobby for a bill banning animal testing for cosmetics. At the conclusion of the second movie, Elle suggested to new husband Emmett that she might desire to live in the White House.

In Legally Blondes, the forgotten spinoff of the franchise that moved straight to DVD and the Disney Channel stated that Elle had become a successful lobbyist in DC.

In the third movie, we are expected to see Elle’s journey from a lobbyist into the White House itself.
