Well, well, well, Mindy Kaling is now going to bring a little something extra to Legally Blonde 3.

Mindy Kaling, Director, actress, writer, is now set to write the new installment in the Legally Blonde franchise and fans are highly anticipated!

Mindy is an actress, a producer as well as a writer and she has just signed on to pen the script for the third installment of Legally Blonde film along with Dan Goor, the co-creator of Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Deadline has reported this news.

The third sequel of Legally Blonde has been in the works for the past few years now. Well, it should be known that a script was already written, but now Kaling and Goor are going to write a new one with each other.

Reese Witherspoon is going to reprise her usual role while here is other news about the cast members!

Actress Reese Witherspoon is going to reprise her usual role of Elle Woods. She is also going to produce the film with the movie’s original producer, Marc Platt.

Luke Wilson said back in February that he has no idea about Legally Blonde 3 but would surely go back in a second and do it if someone asks him.

Initially, the original writers, Smith, as well as McCullagh, were going to write this upcoming project, but things changed!

It was announced back in 2018 that a new Legally Blonde film was on its way with Reese Witherspoon set to return in her iconic character.

Also, initially, Kirsten Kiwi Smith as well as Karen McCullah, the writers from the first film were set to write the script of this one too. But as you may see, things changed.

Mindy Kaling and Dan Goor have also worked together in the past and have created beautiful shows and movies!

As per the reports from Deadline, it is said that Kaling and Goor, who have also worked together in the past on an upcoming wedding comedy with Priyanka Chopra are going to write an original story and not make any changes to the existing script of Legally Blonde 3.
