The series will launch on 12 June on Netflix. The show will air in six parts. The series will be shot in Poland and will have subtitles.
What is The Woods About?
The Woods is a crime thriller. It follows a prosecutor Paweł Kopiński. His sister goes missing in the woods near a summer camp she was attending nearly 25 years ago. The prosecutor still struggles with the loss of his sister. The body of a boy who went missing along with the prosecutor’s sister is discovered. There is evidence that points out the missing sister might be still alive. This gives hope to the prosecutor in finding his long lost sister.
During the search for his missing sister, Pawel will discover long-kept family secrets and the truth could tear Pawel apart.
Who Is In The Cast Of The Woods?
The series is being shot in Poland. The project is funded by the Polish Film Institute. It is shot in the Warsaw area. Polish actor Grzegorz Damiecki will play the lead role in the series. Agnieszka Grochowska and Adam Wietrzynski along with many other talented Polish actors are also part of the series.
