One of the most awaited films is Guardians of the Galaxy from James Gunn, which was postponed after the brief firing of the director. Fans wondered if Thor was going to appear despite Avengers: Endgame events, and now Chris Pratt has explicitly answered the issue.
Will Thor Be A Part Of Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3?
Thor encountered Guardians of the Galaxy during the Infinity War and had a motley group of heroes in some funny chemistry. He left with the party at the end of the game on The Benatar and went to unknown locations in the cosmos. As such, fans hoped the God of Thunder would play a role in Guardians 3. A journalist recently complained Chris Pratt of Thor’s inability to appear in the next section, to which the actor from the Star-Lord said:
“Why do you know it’s not Thor in Guardians 3? Although we haven’t shot it. He may be in Guardians 3. There’s no definite yes or no on that, and we don’t know.”
Fans Of Marvel
It’s the sound of fans of Marvel holding their breaths and crossing fingers everywhere. Thor and the Guardians desperately want to get more exposure on screen, and Chris Pratt seems to have fanned the flames of those expectations with its message above.
Chris Pratt was asked about the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 for his latest musical film Onward on a red carpet. Although Chris Pratt is likely to have an idea of how Thor will lead to the next three-fold case, he leaves hope for the fans alive. But the coming Marvel blockbuster by James Gunn is not yet shot, and nothing is close to being set in stone.
James Gunn And Marvel
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 was going to be one of the original Phase Three movies. Still, James Gunn was fired at the Marvel Studios when unexpectedly derogatory tweets emerged a decade ago. This significantly delayed the production of the film and announced its original release date in 2024.
Thor: Love and Thunder
Thor: Love and Thunder are now in theatres until the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, it is not clear how the final scenes of Endgame are to be treated. Thor could be adapted from The Benatar by Taika Waititi. And who knows? Perhaps the guardians will appear early in the Thor Film to illustrate how they have split ways. Only time is going to tell. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is reportedly anticipated to reach the theaters early in 2024, although the definite release date of Thor: Love and Thunder is 5 November 2024.
