Disney+ shares first look ‘Lizzie McGuire’ Revival Series: Watch!!
Lizzie McGuire will officially return in 2024! On New Year’s Day, Disney+ shared a preview to appear on the broadcast platform this year, including the early revival of the Disney Channel series starring Hilary Duff as the character.
First announced in August 2019, producer Terry Minsky’s new series sees Lizzie as an ancient life in New York City. He is on the eve of his thirtieth birthday, doing his dream job as an apprentice to a superior designer and dating the man of his dreams. Lizzie, 13, is still swollen in the head.
Lizzie has changed since the original series ended!!
“It feels too real, to be honest,” Duff told after the announcement. In a statement, Duff said “She will still face face-to-face with challenging things where, in high school, those challenging things were simple and fun but credible at that time. Now, at age 30, it’s the same way, but a little heavier.” . [That would be] a bit bigger job to try.
Duff thinks that it’s very fun to go on a trip with her at the age of 30. It’s Lizzie herself but as an adult.
In addition, Adam Lamberg, who played Lizzie’s best friend, David “Fat” Green, will also return. Lamberg, whose character was a fan favorite, will have a recurring role in the series. Duff said that when Lamberg’s return was confirmed, Gordo was an essential piece of the puzzle that made the original Lizzie McGuire so authentic and dear. “I can’t imagine the series without him. I can’t wait for fans to see what he’s doing after 15 years and how he fits in Lizzie’s adult world.”
