Designated Survivor Season 4: Does It Have A Release Date Or Is It Cancelled

The first season of Designated Survivor aired on ABC from September 2016 to Nay 2017. David Guggenheim created the show. The second season of the show aired on ABC from 27 September 2017 to 16 May 2018. ABC canceled the show after two seasons in May 2018. In September 2018, Netflix picked the show for the third season. The third season of the show consists of 10 episodes and premiered on Netflix on 7 June 2019. Fans are confused about whether the fourth season of the show has been canceled or is it renewed. Here’s everything we know about season 4 of the show so far:

Release Date Of Season 4

Fans are hopeful that the show would keep on rolling after Netflix saved the series following ABC’s determination to cancel it. Lead actor Kiefer Sutherland said that ‘I desired to take a moment to thank everybody for their incredible help with Designated Survivor. The third season is the final season of the show. You people have just been marvelous. It was an honor to perform as Tom Kirkman, and thank you so much for supporting it through the three seasons of the show; we got to do. All my love, thanks a lot.’

As Tom confirmed that season 3 of the show would be the last season of the show, so there is no release date of season 4 of the show.

Is The Show Canceled

After the release of season 3 in June 2019, the streaming giant canceled the show in  July 2019. Netflix said in a statement that ‘We are pleased to have offered fans the third season of Designated Survivor, and will proceed to carry all three seasons for years to come.’
