Channing Tatum admitted that he felt “destroyed” one month after he called Jessie J.
The 39-year-old Magic Mike star posted a mysterious quote for his Instagram Story at the end of Tuesday, January 7. “I was broken in a thousand ways, and now I know a thousand ways to rebuild myself,” read the anonymous quotation.
Since posting a lighthearted video of a chipmunk facing a small kitten, Tatum released words of wisdom. The dear John star was inspired by the courage of the adorable screenwriter, which captioned the story: “I get ready and struggle with this new year and decade. Let’s go. It’s on!”

News broke that in December, after more than a year of dating, Tatum and the singer of “Flashlight” took the plug. A source told then that Tatum and Jessie J “are still really close and still good friends” given their split.
A couple of weeks after it was called out, the “Domino” songstress revealed that she had “later feelings” about the breakup in a personal Instagram story.
In October 2018, the 21 Jump Street actor and former Voice UK mentor started to see each other privately. After almost nine years of marriage, Tatum revealed his split from former wife Jenna Dewan six months earlier.
“We decided to split lovingly as a family. We fell deeply in love so long ago and went together for a magical journey,” the Step Up costars said in a joint statement in April 2018.
The Flirty Dancing host, 38, and Tatum were legally declared single, but wait for a custody agreement for their 6-year-old daughter. In a November paper file at a Los Angeles trial, Tatum revealed that there was some “conflict” among him and Dewan, who are currently waiting for their first child to agree on a custody arrangement with Tony-winning Broadway star Steve Kazee.
Tatum said he thinks working with the co-parenting advisor would be a lot of help to support us with such planning so that he can organize the work better and other obligations and avoid confusion or conflict.
