Apple To Reunite Will Ferrell And Paul Rudd In A New Series

Apple TV is planning to pitch into a new series, and the series is based on a podcast on an unhinged psychiatrist.

The show will reunite Will Farrell and Paul Rudd who will be playing the major characters in the new project the show is titled as “The Shrink Next Door.” 

The Shrink Next Door is going be a limited series with eight episodes in total as mentioned by Apple, the series follows the genre of dark comedy and fans are excited to see Will and Paul together bringing out the best of the show.

CAST, CREW AND MORE ABOUT THE SHRINK NEXT DOOR

The title of the show gives us hope that the show will be exciting and something we might have never seen.

Comedian Michael Showalter is directing the series, Paul Rudd will play the character of Dr Isaac “Ike” Herschkopf, and Will Ferrell will be playing his longtime patient Martin “Marty” Markowitz.

The series takes an unhealthy and uncertain road as Dr Isaac takes over Martin’s life he sneakily moves into his Hamptons house and not only this he takes over Martin’s family business, what happens when you meet a crazy Shrink this show is just there to tell you about it!

The show was announced in early February and soon after that Will and Rudd were designated to their characters; however, no streaming platform has been decided yet but let’s hope its Netflix!

The Apple TV+ series will be the first project Ferrell and Rudd will work on together since Anchorman 2: The Legend Continued in 2013, fans are excited about their reunion.

There is no trailer or a set release date for The Shrink Next Door as of yet, but we will keep you updated on new information that comes our way, till then stay home stay safe.
