In 2018, Sony Pictures published Venom, a superheroic click with Tom Hardy as the long-term nemesis of Spider-Man. The ludicrous action of the film did not click with its critic, but the viewers loved its charm. Only with the release of Venom 2 will the anti-hero character become more important to Sony’s plans.
Sony’s take of Venom, starring Tom Hardy, was a big-screen adaptation, filled with action, to the story of the Marvel superhero. And if in 2018, you wanted to see Mr. Hardy transform into a hideous spider-like monster, then good news! Later this year, a sequel goes to the big screen.

While it has not been officially confirmed yet, the Venom series appears to be released on 2 October 2024.
Sony has bookmarked the slot to a ‘Sony / Marvel sequel,’ and since the first film came out very well in October, there is no reason to believe that the studio is trying to fix something that has succeeded already.

Without Tom Hardy and his character Eddie Broke, this film is unthinkable. His job was nailed to Tom Hardy. Michelle Williams will also return as Eddie Broke’s ex-wife for the second part of this film. She’ll play Anne Weying’s character.
Plot Details:
When Carlton Drake of Riz Ahmed (who eventually fused with the Riot symbiotic) exploded in the spacecraft toward the end of the first film, the initial nemesis of Eddie and Venom will most probably not come back. Luckily, the mid-credit scene in Venom was a bright and bankable predictor as to who would fill the sequel with the villain’s gap.
This line is a reference on the nose, confirming the identity of Kasady. He fuses in the comics with a symbiotic named Carnage, a type of “offspring” that Venom once lost when Brock was broken out of jail. Carnage binds Kasady profoundly and develops violent powers that Venom does not possess. It is unclear how much of the story of Carnage and Kasady will be taken from the original material for Venom 2, but it will get messy and violent as everyone gets out.
