We all are very aware of King Arthur but its time to hear the tale of The Green Knight, this fantasy film from A24, revolves around the old story of Sir Gawain, a knight of King Arthur’s Round Table who embarks on a journey to test his loyalty and courage.
The Green Knight is directed by one and only David Lowery, and he will not be the first director to touch upon The Green Knight as Stephen Weeks led Gawain and the Green Knight in 1973.
The news about the film first came on November 5, 2018, when Lowery was signed on the project, the film had to begin their production in April 2019, and it looks like they might have been finished with the production.
THE GREEN KNIGHT RELEASE DATE
An official date for the release has not yet been set, but the poster of the movie says it might get an announcement in the ‘coming summer.’
Fans speculate that the release date for the movie is May 29, 2024.
