Since the beginning of television, there have been crime shows. There’s something unique about them that attracts public attention all over the world. Maybe it is the action scenes, or the three-dimensional characters, or the twists and turns. Crime shows are often about serial killers or drug traffickers, but all are different in style and theme—some lean more to drama, others to comedy, and even to romance. Regarding the line of demarcation, there is considerable variation in what can be described as a crime drama.
Looking at how these TV series are made, there are a lot of commonalities between all of them. There is certainly an intention to commit a crime, or there is already an abominable offense. We watched more often than not, tv shows where the characters didn’t know whether a crime was committed. Late, we saw a growing demand for (crime) dramas focused on real stories or real crimes.
