Spider-Man 3 will start shooting this summer

Spider-Man 3 of MCU will ostensibly begin shooting this summer, shooting in locations that include Iceland.

In 2016, Tom Holland’s Peter Parker, aka Spider-Man, entered the Marvel Cinematic Universe and had since become a pivotal superhero of the franchise.

As he had arrived in three team-up films, he has also lead two single movies of his own – Spider-Man: Homecoming and Spider-Man: Far From Home.

A new contract of last summer was moved between Marvel and Sony, and Spider-Man will endure in the MCU for one more single film, Spider-Man 3, and another team-up movie.

Spider-Man 3 has a release date in July 2024. Homecoming and Far From Home director Jon Watts will come back in addition to Holland.

Jacob Batalon and Zendaya, who perform Ned Leeds and Michelle ‘MJ’ Jones respectively, are also anticipated to come back but still have not been approved.

It is assumed that the third movie will reflect the Spider-Man: Far From Home post-credits scenes, which highlighted J. Jonah Jameson (J.K. Simmons), showing Peter’s mysterious personality and telling that Spidey killed Mysterio.

With a year and a half till the film’s set to smash multiplexes, pre-production is ramping up on the subsequent Spider-Man film.

Locations of the filming of Spider-Man 3

According to the reports, Spider-Man 3 will begin shooting in July and end in November, with the production going to Atlanta, Georgia; New York, New York; Los Angeles, California, and Iceland.

According to the source, this would not be the first MCU film to shoot in Iceland, as Thor: The Dark World earlier shot some scenes in the nation.

The source explained that the Iceland location could be a clue that Kraven the Hunter will be the antagonist of the movie.

While the Iceland shooting location may tease Kraven Hunter’s addition, it could be linked to a different antagonist or storyline.

Following the Far From Home post-credits scenes outed Peter Parker’s personality as Spider-Man, supporters have considered that Spider-Man 3 would add Kraven and highlight some arrangement of the ‘Kraven’s Last Hunt’ outline.

Even Watts even backed the concept of Kraven the Hunter in Spider-Man 3, though it is not clear whether the director has any original ideas for the antagonist.

With shooting set to begin this summer, it should not be very long before casting gets started, and more will be exposed from set images that are attached to surface once production starts.

Fans triggered for Spidey’s following outing can look ahead to more Spider-Man 3 updates in the imminent months.
