Jeremy Roenick Fired By NBC Sports Over Unsuitable Comments Regarding Colleague

Jeremy Roenick suspended for inappropriate comments about NBC sports affiliates!!!

NBC Sports suspended NHL analyst Jeremy Roenick after made inappropriate comments about their colleagues while appearing on Barstool’s Spittin Chucklets podcast. John Ourand of the Sports Business Journal reported today the suspension, including the NBC Sports statement. On Monday afternoon, the Sports Business Journal shared an emailed statement. NBC Sports said: “Jeremy Roenick has been suspended indefinitely without pay for making inappropriate comments about his coworkers. We will not have more comments at this time”.

The main comment under consideration was probably Roenick’s comment on NBC Sports host Kathryn Tappen!!

Roenick suggested he was open to sleep with her. During the podcast, Roenick described a summer vacation he took in Portugal with his wife and the host of NBC Sports Studio, Kathryn Tappen.

He told a story of how at least one hotel guest asked Roenick if the three were together. Roenick admits that he played it perfectly as if we all going to bed every day. According to him, if it comes to fruition, it will be perfect for her, but it’s not possible. Later in the course of the discussion, Roenick stated that his wife and Tappen are close friends and that Tappen’s praised professionalism.

Kathryn Tappen is one of the most professional sports celebrities we know that Roenick admit it and at last he said she is one of his favorite people in the world. Perhaps surprisingly, however, it wasn’t just Tappen. Roenick also reached the same conclusion about the NHL player and current NBC Sports Studio analyst Patrick Sharp.

Speculating openly about possible meetings with colleagues is undoubtedly worthy of a suspension, and now we will only have to see how long NBC Sports decides to keep it on the bench.

She’s the most famous and professional sports personality in the world, said Roenick!!

Ronick’s run on the NHL for decades included seasons with the Chicago Blackhawks, Arizona Coyotes, Philadelphia Flyers, San Jose Sharks and Los Angeles Kings. It’s nine times NHL All-Star. In 2010, Ronick began his television career as an analyst with NBC Sports. The retired NHL player has also made cameos and special appearances on shows like “Bones” and “Ghost Whisperer.”
