An unidentified juvenile suspect slashed an elderly woman’s neck and fled away
An 80-year-old woman went out for a morning walk in Columbia, Maryland when an unknown man approached her, cut her neck, and ran away, police said.
Howard County Police answered the complaint at 6:35 am Wednesday. The woman told the police that the man told her nothing and took nothing.
Description of the suspect
The police are looking for a thin man, perhaps in his twenties, with a covered face and dark clothes. Investigators are investigating a possible reason for the attack.
The woman is in better condition now
Howard County Police said her condition was stable after she was taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma.
The suspect is still absconding. Investigators have surfaced the description of the suspect to all the nearby police stations. they are also interviewing the eyewitnesses and are seeking help from them. the relation between the victim and suspect is still unclear and the motive behind the attack is yet to be disclosed.
