The season 2 of The Umbrella Academy is finally released and the critics are showering love on the second season. Umbrella Academy Season 1 introduced Netflix’s audience to the Hargreaves family of uniquely motivated kids. The comic series is created and written by Gerrard Way and illustrated by Gabriel Bae.

The story revolves around billionaire industrialist Sir Reginald Hargreaves adopts women at random, seven of 43 children born the same day with no signs of pregnancy. Sir Reginald builds The Umbrella Academy so that he can train his children to save the universe. In Season 1, they failed instead of taking responsibility for the 2019 apocalypse. Season 2 of the series takes fans back to the 1960s. Five (Aidan Gallagher) has traveled back in time in this season.
