The Gift is a supernatural archaeological thriller which gives its fans a roller coaster ride with exciting plot twists and the much-needed drama.
The Gift is directed by Ozan Aciktan and Gonenc Uyanik and is an adaptation of the novel ‘The Awakening of The World’, authored by Şengül Boyba.
Apparently, the show is produced by Turkey’s OG Medya for Netflix and is the second original Turkish series on the platform after ‘The Protector’.
Netflix is trying to bring more content from al over the world and must say we appreciate their effort in providing us with great content.
THE GIFT SEASON TWO RELEASE DATE
The Gift season one premiered on Netflix on December 27, 2019, well we can say it was our late Christmas present and indeed made the holidays a little more exciting.
Season one consisted of 8 episodes which were released on the same day.
Coming to season two, fans all over the globe are excited to get a season two for the show and the way season one left us we are pretty sure we will be getting a season two. however, nothing has been officially announced yet.
Experts tell us that Turkish shows spread over the years, so it is unlikely that the show will be cancelled after just one season of it, keeping this information in mind we expect the season two to be released somewhere at the end of 2024.

As seen in the first season of The Gift, Beren Saat played the lead female role of Atiye that means ‘gift’ in Turkish, and she is a well-known actress and very talented in her field.
