No premiere date is set for a third season, although the Variety announces season 3 will be eight episodes. The series Shrill Season Season 2, also eight episodes, premiered in January 2024. Meanwhile, the first season debuted in March 2019 with six episodes. According to the sources the Hollywood Journalist notes that the Shrill typically shoots during Bryant’s summer hiatus from Saturday Night Live.
