One Punch Man first season aired in Japan between October and December 2015. The animated series was dubbed in English during the summer of 2016. In late 2016, the show was renewed for a second season. It was announced on 25 September 2017 that the production company and director have been changed. Season 2 of the show aired between April and July 2019. The second season was the one with the most highs and lows. Season 2 of the show was plagued with a loss of production time and very poor pacing, which gave us a very rough version of what could have been really good. Fans have slowly forgotten about season 2 and asking for season 3 of the show. Here’s everything we know about season 3 of the show so far:
Release Date Of Season 3
Viewers have formed a petition to bring back the former director of season 1 for the third season of One Punch Man, as the second season suffered hugely in terms of animation quality. There is no official announcement about the release date of the third season. There is a rumor that the third season of the show would be released in Japan in late 2024 or Spring 2024.
Expected Plot Of Season 3
One-Punch Man is a close arrangement of the manga series with the same name. The third season will feature Saitama to an even lesser degree if we are operating by the manga series. Saitama requires to be removed from the action to allow some back-and-forth fighting to take place. The third season of the show will witness the Heroes Association assemble against their monster counterparts and attack the villains’ headquarters.
It is rumored that season 3 of the show will also be concentrating more on Garou. Excluding Saitama for a while provides more time to examine Genos, King, Fubuki, etc., all of whom are compelling and often amusing figures in their way.
Viewers will be presented to the idea and the origin of Saitama’s real strength. If there is more news about the third season of the show, we will be happy to update that for you.
