When will Matilda: The musical arrives on Netflix?
It would be too early to announce a release date for Netflix. But because it will be produced later this year, we all know that Matilda: The Musical is coming to Netflix in 2024.
The plot of Matilda: The Musical
Matilda, a talented and incredibly intelligent young five and a half-year-old girl, struggles with the stupidity of her family. At school, Matilda befriends dear Miss Honey and can finally show off her intellectual skills. Unfortunately, the school is run by the tyrannical Miss Trunchbul, who prides herself on punishing students with harsh punishment. When Telekinaik’s powers are developed in Matilda, she helps Miss Honey and they work together to stop Miss Trunchbull.
The cast members of Matilda: The Musical
The biggest supporting announcement is Harry Potter’s favorite Ralph Fiennes as the evil principle of Crunchem Hall Elementary School, Miss Trunchbull.
Each production of Matilda: The Musical, Miss Trunchbull, is portrayed by male actors. Cinema clearly continues that tradition with the excellent Ralph Fiennes.
As of this writing, there is no official confirmation, but Emma Stone has been contacted to portray the role of Miss Honey.
None of the other actors has yet been cast, but casting for the main character (Matilda) and supporting roles was available earlier this year. Applications were due in late January, which means our Matilda will be issued very soon.
When does the production of Matilda start?
Thanks to the information about the casting, we know that the filming of the music was scheduled to start in August and end in December.
Trials were expected to start in June, but it is unclear at this time whether the current coronavirus epidemic will have any effect on Matilda’s production: music.
If the schedule is normal, the filming of Matilda should be: the music should be finished by the end of the year.
