But according to some sources, Marvel Studios is eyeing the old Harry Potter actor for the popular comic book character. Although, recent news implies he may be up against some tough competition from The Mandalorian lead.
The Mandalorian is undoubtedly one of the most talked-about programs in presence at the time, and the lead player has essentially become a household name overnight.
Meaning, Disney may want to set his abilities to use outside the Star Wars franchise yet preserve his Disney+ presence through a highly awaited Marvel original.

Moon Knight is a fictional superhero looking in American comic books distributed by Marvel Comics. Created by Doug Moench and Don Perlin, the character first arrived in Werewolf by Night in 1975. Over time, he has linked with many of our beloved heroes who make up the Avengers and the X-Men.
As a source reveals, unless Marvel Studios again writes memoir, the story will be walking around Marc Spector: a boxer turned marine turned mercenary who gets associated with the Egyptian gods.
Will Marvel Studios choose Pedro Pascal for Moon Knight in the MCU?
Both DC and Marvel insider Mikey Sutton lately released an MCU scoop regarding Moon Knight and Pedro Pascal’s likely casting.
He asserted: MCU SCOOP – 1/1/20: The Mandalorian‘s actor is really starting to soar. According to many inside sources I spoke to, the Mandalorian himself — Pedro Pascal — is on the list of stars being thought to perform Moon Knight for the MCU.
They emphasize that no talks or any discussions have started yet, but Pascal clicks the right buttons for the performance.
As streaming TV shows have much more manageable schedules, if Pascal is cast as Moon Knight, there will not be any scheduling struggles with the hugely successful Mandalorian.
