A young boy got involved in the fight and killed a teen girl
Los Angeles officers are searching for a minor boy who shot a 15-year-old girl on Saturday afternoon.
Los Angeles Police Officer Michael Chen said the incident occurred shortly after noon in the Harbor Gateway city gate area.
The boy fired the shot in the girl in the chest
“It started with a dispute between two girls,” he said. “The young man interfered in the fighting and shot one of the girls in the chest.
The identity of the victim is yet to be disclosed
According to the reports, the victim was taken to the UCLA Medical Center in Harbor and was pronounced dead at 2.45 pm. Her name has not been revealed pending notification.
According to Chan, the police were looking for a boy aged 10 to 12 and another girl aged 12 to 15.
Police said the two were still being released on Sunday.
The investigators are looking into the matter. The reason for the dispute is also not clear as for now. The authorities are questioning the near ones of the victim and the suspects.
The relation between the 3 is also unknown.
