Cobra Kai is a series that is much more of a sequel of the Karate Kid movies, which stars Macchio and William Zabka that had returned to the classic roles of Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence.
This series is written and conceptualized by Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz, and Hayden Schlossberg, who have also directed many episodes of the series.
Story
The story of Cobra Kai revolves around the rivalry between the two characters, who have their dojos that are teaching a different style of karate to the new generation of students.
Release date of Cobra Kai
The previous season of the Cobra Kai was released on April 24, 2019. It gathered a lot of success and positive response from the viewers. The 3rd season has no release date yet. It is not official, however, but it may release at the end of 2024.
Cast
With the addition of Ralph Macchio and William Zabka, all of the actors from the previous season are expected to return in the new season. The cast will include Martin Kove, Xolo Maridueña, Mary Mouser, Tanner Buchanan, and Jacob Bertrand.
What may happen in the new season
The series will resume with the final minutes of the second where Miguel will be fighting with his life at the hospital. According to Martin, Vietnam will be playing a bigger role in season 3. He will describe why Kreese becomes a ruthless sensei. There is also a possibility of Kresse’s childhood to be explored in the new season as Martin told that Kreese is a victim of bullying from childhood.
Will Cobra Kai have Season 4 and 5 or more?
It is a fact that season 3 of the Cobra Kai will not be the last. Because according to the original planning, Cobra Kai will have six total seasons. The previous season that will be the 6th season maybe releasing in 2024. So the fans will have 3 more years to explore the new episodes of this series.
