Stacey Dash has been arrested for domestic battery in Florida, according to reports.
The “Clueless” celebrity was taken into custody Sunday by the Pasco Sheriff’s Office and charged with domestic battery, authorities confirmed to NBC News and Tampa Bay ABC station WFTS.
She Reportedly got into a verbal argument with an undercover man before pushing and slapping him in the face, police advised the outlets.
Dash, 52, was subsequently taken to a jail near Tampa without further incident, the sockets report.
USA TODAY has achieved to the Pasco Sheriff’s Office and agents for Dash for remark.
The celebrity has worked as a conservative political commentator in recent decades.
She Announced she was no longer running for Congress in California a bit more than a month later she filed paperwork to make a campaign committee back in 2018.
“At This stage, I believe the overall bitterness surrounding our Political process, participating in the rigors of campaigning, and Holding elected office would be damaging to the wellbeing and health Of my family,” she said in a statement published on Twitter.
