James Cameron’s Avatar has been the most awaited film since Avatar released in 2009. The blue-colored creatures called Na’vi who inhabit Pandora made a place in the hearts of the people. Fans of Cameron’s ambitious project are eagerly waiting for the sequel to release in the theaters.

A lot of characters from Avatar will return for the sequel but there a few characters that bid farewell in the first film and will not return for the sequel.

Mayte Michelle Rodriguez was seen as Trudy Chacón in Avatar. She was a human who had gone to Pandora. She was a combat pilot in the film and was sympathetic towards the Na’vi. Trudy Chacón died when she was helping Jake and Na’vi to fight against the RDA armada.

Wesley Studi was seen as a Na’vi named Eytukan in Avatar. Eytukan was Neytiri’s father and the head of the Omaticaya clan. He lost his life while defending his clan during the Destruction of the Hometree. It was an attempt by RDA to force the Na’ vi away from their settlement.

Laz Alonso was seen as Tsu’tey in Avatar. He was the finest warrior of the Omaticaya clan. He was also engaged to Neytiri. When the assault of the tree of souls was conducted by RDA, Tsu’tey had led the Omaticaya clan to fight against RDA. During the fight, he was badly wounded by a machine gunner. Tsu’tey requested for his death and was given a merciful death by Jake Sully.

Avatar 2: Characters That Are Coming Back For The Film

Zoe Saldana who was seen as Neytiri will be coming back for the sequel. Sam Worthington will once again be seen as Jake Sully. Jake and Neytiri are married. They have children together. Jake along with Mo’ is the leader of the Omaticaya clan. Joel David Moore will be seen as Dr. Norm Spellman. He is a human scientist and chose to side with Na’vi. Giovanni Ribisi will be seen as Parker Selfridge. CCH Pounder will be seen as Mo’at.
