The Boys: Prime Renews The Superhero Show For Season 3

The second season of Amazon’s famous show The Boys is yet to be launched. But if the rumors are true, then the fans of the show are in luck. It has been reported that the show has already been renewed for one more season. Season 2 of the show was announced even before the first season was launched.

 New Writers

It is believed that Paul Grellong, writer, director, and producer on CBS’s Hawaii Five-0 and Scorpion has been added to the team of writers for season 3.

Hints By The Showrunner

Showrunner Eric Kripke had once revealed his plans for the third installment of the show. He had stated that if there are more seasons then he would like to adapt the Herogasm storyline from the comics the show is based on.

A New Face?

Eric Kripke had expressed his desire to have actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan on board for a role in the series. The actor was delighted and said that he would love to.

Cast Of The Show 

The show cast includes Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, and Antony Starr. It also stars Erin Moriarty, Dominique McElligott, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, and Chace Crawford. Tomer Capon, Karen Fukuhara, Nathan Mitchell, and Elisabeth Shue are also part of the show.

The Boys is an adaptation of Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson’s comic book of the same name. Season one of the show is currently streaming on Amazon. Violent, entertaining, and darkly hilarious season 1 became a hit instantly. Season 2 is supposed to be launched sometime at the end of the year.
