A serial killer is responsible for the murders of street children and prostitutes. An ad hoc group has been assigned to investigate the heinous crime. The show also features historical figures like Theodore Roosevelt, who served as Commissioner of Police from 1895 to 1897.

The first season premiered on January 22, 2018, and on August 16, 2018, the show was renewed for a sequel based on The Angel of Darkness and premiered on July 19, 2024.

After multiple murders, assassination attempts, and dark secrets, Laszlo Krizler, Sarah Howard, and John Moore can track him down for the long haul. When the team closes the situation, Chrysler leaves for Vienna and John and Sarah part ways with John’s fans. Since each season offers a story that confuses itself, the next version will adopt a different example.

The central mystery will depend on the plot that Caleb Carr brings to his new post. However, individual linguistic plays should continue in a possible third instalment.
