Stocks end in 5-week low

US stocks closed lower on Wednesday, completing at their lowest level since August 23.

The Dow Completed 494 points, or 1.9 percent, lower. In its session low, the index was down almost 600 points, falling under 26,000 for the first time per month. Just one Dow stock finished the day higher: Johnson & Johnson (JNJ). The stocks finished 1.6percent greater.

The S&P 500 fell 1.8%.

The Nasdaq Composite shut down 1.5%.

The Inventory selloff started Tuesday, after a weak manufacturing record. Nowadays markets turned lower on worse-than-expected personal payrolls, Concerns about Friday’s jobs report along with too little good news to counterweigh the soured sentiment.
